A. SIGN-UPS

A1. TERMS

1.1. By signing up for the ECC, the team, its players and its organisation agree to the ECC league rules.

1.2. The signup form can only be submitted by the team captain or manager.

1.3. The person submitting the signup form is responsible for making sure all information is complete and correct. This includes but is not limited to: Providing the correct account and tracker links for all players and declaring all relevant alt accounts.

1.3.1. An alt account is considered relevant if it is used to play in a league game or the rank is higher than or similar to the one of the main account.

1.3.2 Shared accounts between a player and a third party also fall under the alt-account definition, unless sufficient evidence can be brought forward that the player does no longer use, or have access to that account in any capacity.

1.3.3. If a player has an EPIC Games account that is linked to an account that has been signed up with in the League, they are allowed to play on either the native platform, or the linked EPIC Games account.

1.4. All players of a team are required to join the Discord server before seeding for the sign-up to be valid and must remain in it throughout the season to be eligible to compete in league games.

1.5. Players are only allowed to sign up with a single team. If a player signs up with more than one team, they have to contact the staff-team immediately to decide which team they will be competing for. If no contact with staff is made, the player will be disqualified from the season.

1.6. All signup details can be changed up until the end of the respective sign-up window by re-submitting the sign-up form or contacting a staff member on Discord.

1.7. By signing up, the team and, if applicable, its organisation, grants Slipstream and all other participating teams permission to use their submitted logo and name in all Slipstream/ECC-related affairs, including but not limited to: Live broadcasts, recorded broadcasts, content posted on social media, as emotes on Discord, on tournament organisation websites or as promotional material. Using logos of other teams commercially, transforming them against their owners’ intent or using them for purposes unrelated to Slipstream/ECC events is strictly prohibited.

1.7.1. The team or its organisation must hold the necessary rights to grant Slipstream/ECC this permission. If a team signs up using an image without having the rights to use and modify it both for commercial and non-commercial purposes or using a name which violates copyright law, this will result in an immediate removal of the logo or name and a strike once this is discovered by staff. If an org or player receives a second strike they are disqualified from the season and all responsible individuals are banned for two seasons. The team has one week to submit a new logo or name, if it fails to do so a default ECC logo will be used.

1.7.2. In turn Slipstream and the ECC grant the team and organisation permission to use the official Slipstream and ECC logos on social media like Twitter, Twitch or Youtube as a form of mentioning or crediting them.

1.8. All players signing up for the ECC must be at least 13 years of age in accordance with Psyonix’ community tournament guidelines. Failing to adhere to that age restriction will lead to disqualification.

A2. OVERALL

2.1. All teams and players that are not banned from the Slipstream server or the ECC league itself are permitted to sign up.

2.2. Signing up does not guarantee a league spot, unless the team is a returning team with an eligible roster as described in section A3.

2.3. There is one sign-up window at the start of the season for all teams. New teams are seeded into divisions at the end of this period.

A3. SEEDING
